Software as a Sensor - DISTILL

DISTILL

Apache Distill™ is an analytics framework for handling and analyzing UserALE data. Distill allows you to focus on the data you want and model it. Whether you're interested in how users are interacting with specific features, or whether you want to compare usage between two different versions of your application, Distill has you covered. More importantly, Distill empowers you to learn more from your data than any commercial service; use Distill's analytic libraries to understand how users interact with your applications, not just what they click on. Distill specializes in models of sequence and workflow so that you can understand how users experiment with your application and whether they interact with your application the way you expected. Distill is written in Python and built for scalable growth and customization; if Distill analytic libraries don't provide you the information you need, you can write your own, or if you want something really special, contact us software-evaluation@draper.com.

Source Code

Apache Distill is part of the Apache Software as a Sensor™ (SensSoft) effort, which is undergoing incubation at The Apache Software Foundation (ASF). Incubation is required of all newly accepted projects until a further review indicates that the infrastructure, communications, and decision making process have stabilized in a manner consistent with other successful ASF projects. While incubation status is not necessarily a reflection of the completeness or stability of the code, it does indicate that the project has yet to be fully endorsed by the ASF.
