CAMBRIDGE, MA—Draper continued a 12-year-long holiday tradition of raising $10,000 and partnering with the Cambridge Fire Department for Toys for Tots. Toys for Tots is a national charitable program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve that has helped provide happiness and hope to disadvantaged children at Christmas for 65 years. In raising the funds, Draper matched employees dollar for dollar, and made a corporate donation of $5,000, to bring in enough money to fill nine bins and three fire department vehicles with toys. “Our employees opened their hearts and their wallets and the company did too, making this year one of the best toy collections at Draper,” noted Bob Najjar, of Draper, whose more than a decade of leadership of the program was recognized by Acting Cambridge Fire Chief Gerry Mahoney. The Cambridge Fire Department is a collection point for Toys for Tots.
