Draper Awarded Position on $46 Billion Air Force IDIQ to Support Digital Engineering, Analytics

CAMBRIDGE, MA—Draper, an engineering innovation company, has been selected by the U.S. Air Force as one of 55 contractors on a digital engineering contract that aims to increase the service’s ability to work on digital designs of its future platforms.

The potential 11-year, $46 billion indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract will support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Eglin Air Force Base in Florida.

Draper will have the opportunity to compete for task orders to provide services that include model-based systems engineering, weapons and enterprise analytics, digital engineering, agile processes and open systems architecture.

Tony Kourepenis, vice president of Strategic Systems at Draper, said the award presents opportunities for Draper to demonstrate a range of specialized capabilities.

“We believe Draper is uniquely positioned to deliver customized, innovative solutions for Air Force objectives on this program,” Kourepenis said. “We plan to offer expertise that merges new technologies, our capabilities and customer insight built from a long history supporting Air Force missions around the world.”

Work on the contract will be performed at Draper’s facilities and locations.
