Draper Awarded Position on $499 Million Air Force IDIQ to Support Anti-Tamper Tech Development

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.—Draper, an engineering innovation company, has been selected by the U.S. Air Force as one of 17 contractors to design, develop, test and deliver anti-tamper systems to protect critical program information and technologies from adversarial tamper efforts.

The potential six-year, $499 million indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract will support the Air Force Life Cycle Management at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio.

Draper will have the opportunity to compete for task orders to provide technology and product development services that include secure processing and tamper protection solutions for the U.S. government.

Andrew Mueller, program manager for Secure and Assured Systems at Draper, said the award presents opportunities for Draper to demonstrate a range of specialized capabilities.

“Countering the varied threats faced by the U.S. military requires advanced technology across multiple disciplines and domains,” Mueller said. “We plan to offer expertise that merges new technologies, our capabilities and customer insights built from a long history protecting mission critical national security programs and systems from tampering.”

Work on the contract will be performed at Draper’s facilities and locations and is expected to be completed February 28, 2030.
